Information for Teachers
See it, Say it, Write it was developed by teachers for teachers.
For the past three years the See it, Say it, Write it program has been implemented within the Bridgewater-Raynham Regional School District, in Bridgewater Massachusetts.
The See it, Say it, Write it team began supplementing lessons with digital pictures in a Life Skills Class and in one first grade inclusion classroom,
to help children with special needs understand challenging material. The program rapidly expanded to over 10 regular and inclusion classrooms within two other in-district
elementary schools. Due to the success of See it, Say it, Write it , its developers were awarded a $30,000 Lighthouse Technology Grant (1999-2000).
This grant provided additional funds for technology and dissemination activities for the purpose of sharing the ideas with educators in other school districts to promote student
literacy skills using technology.
